Location

The site is located at Gore Hill in Sydney and the data centre is under construction with a completion date expected 4th Qter 2011. The data centre is appropriately set back from the Pacific Highway towards the rear of the 5 hectare site. The Gore Hill location is 6km from the city CBD and provides an ideal position to support active / active computer systems between Gore Hill and the CBD based production systems of the tenant.

Description

The data centre is a 3 ½ level building providing an overall building area of 11,273 sqm. The building provides a half floor of office, 2 floors of data halls and associated plant and equipment areas. The two data hall floor levels each provide a floor plate size of approx 3100sqm and approx 2000sqm of computer placement area. The initial design of the facility was based on TRE’s DC 4000 design.
